While the transfer apparently already happened a couple of weeks ago, Mister-Baseball.com learned about it this week. The 18-year-old pitcher Marius Jellonneck has left the Mannheim Tornados to join the Heidenheim Heidekoepfe. He only made one appearance for the Tornados this year, as he missed some time during the season with an injury. He also is a member of the German Junior National Team, starting one game (5.2 IP, 5 H, R, 6 BB, 5 SO) during the European Championship in July. He also was invited to the MLB European Academy in Tirrenia, Italy in August.
