Two German minor leaguers got released. The rumor mill already was in full affect, but now it’s also officially confirmed. Outfielders Maik Ehmcke (Arizona Diamondbacks) and Julsan Kamara (Philadelphia Phillies) saw their professional baseball career (temporarily) end this fall. The 21-year-old Ehmcke was assigned to the Arizona Summer League this summer after being in the Pioneer League in 2014. He batted .210/.274/.286 in 34 games after going .221/.303/.272 in 47 games the year before. The 20-year-old Kamara returned to the Dominican Summer League for a second consecutive season and batted .158/.324/.175 in 23 games (.215/.386/.323 in 21 games in 2014).
