Posted on August 16, 2010August 17, 2010 by philipp

After Sunday’s rainout of the Solingen Alligators vs. Pulheim Gophers matchup, the final doubleheader in the regular season of the Baseball-Bundesliga, the German Baseball and Softball Federation announced the make-up dates. The twin bill will be split up into a two-game series, which will be played on Wednesday, August 18 and Thursday, August 19.

The Gophers need to win at least one of the two games against the northern champion to clinch the fourth and last spot in the northern division. If they lose twice, the HSV Stealers get the quarterfinal ticket against the Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg. The playoffs already will start on Saturday with the first two games of the best-of-five series.

Update 8/17: The German Federation announced another change of the schedule, as the two games now will be played at the Wanderers facilities in Dortmund. First pitch is now planned for 7.30pm CET.

Schedule:
Wednesday, August 18:
19:30 Solingen Alligators – Pulheim Gophers (in Dortmund)
Thursday, August 19:
19:30 Solingen Alligators – Pulheim Gophers (in Dortmund)
