Two games opened round two of the double game day in the German Baseball-Bundesliga on Saturday. Both games ended with one-run victories. The Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg won their contest 8-7 against the Munich-Haar Disciples thanks to a tenth-inning walk-off RBI single by former Minor Leaguer Maik Ehmcke. Regensburg erased a 1-7 deficit throughout the game. With a win on Sunday the Buchbinder Legionaere can claim the four-game series.
In the north the Dohren Wild Farmers beat the Hamburg Stealers 6-5. A two-run home run by Caleb Fenimore in the top of the seventh gave Dohren the decisive lead en route to the win. Hamburg just had turned a 1-4 deficit into a 5-4 advantage.
The remaining games will be played on Sunday.
