Like every year the German 1st League Team Regenburg Legonäre host an international tournament. The German Senior National Team uses this Tournament to prepare for the European Baseball Championship in Barcelona that take place in September. Coach Greg Frady will make his final cuts and annouce his roster for Bacelona after the tournament. Other teams are Whitewater University/USA, Paderborn Untouchables and the British Senior National Team.
In the opening game Monday night Germany beat the Regensburg Legionäre 9-7.
