The Heidenheim Heideköpfe evened the best-of-five final series in the German Baseball-Bundesliga with a 7-3 win over the Bonn Capitals in game two on Sunday. Heidenheim, which lost 2-11 on Saturday, came out scoring six runs in the first three innings for a 6-0 lead en route to the win.
Shawn Larry and Sascha Lutz hit home runs with Larry driving in three. Simon Gühring scored twice. Eric Brenk homered for Bonn as part of a 3-for-4 performance. Justin Erasmus picked up the win with seven solid innings, allowing two unearned runs on five hits and a walk. Wilson Lee didn’t make it out of the first inning, getting replaced by Maurice Wilhelm after one hit, four runs and five base on balls.
Game three and four will be played next weekend in Bonn. Legionaere-TV is going to broadcast both games live.
