Last Games of Regular Season in Austrian Baseball League

Posted on August 30, 2008 by philipp

The Austrian Baseball League concludes its schedule this weekend with a bunch of more or less meaningless games. The only open question is, which team will finish in second place behind leader MOSQUITO ATHLETICS. The SUPERFUND WANDERERS and the UNION KUFSTEIN VIKINGS have identical 18-9 records. Each team has one match left. The tiebreaker belongs to the club from Vienna. So said, the VIKINGS need a victory in DORNBIRN and a loss by the WANDERERS next Tuesday against the METROSTARS.
