French Playoffs: Savigny will meet Rouen in Finals

The playoff round in the French Elite League was finished this weekend. SAVIGNY and ROUEN celebrated sweeps and will meet in the finals, which will start at October 3rd. The LIONS clinched their finals spot with a 9-2 win in game one of their series against TEMPLIERS SENART. They also won games two and three and will be the number one seed going into the best-of-five championship series. The HUSKIES started into the weekend with a 3-0 shutout against MONTPELLIER. The 5-2 victory in the second match against the BARRACUDAS lifted them into the finals. A 15-2 rout in game three completed the sweep. ROUEN and SAVIGNY finish the playoffs with 7-2 records. MONTPELLIER, which was tied with both teams before the weekend, fell to 4-5 in the end. SENART stayed winless in nine games.
