French Playoffs: Montpellier, Paris join Rouen, Senart in Semis

The Montpellier Barracudas and Paris UC are joining the Rouen Huskies and the Templiers Senart in the semi-finals of the French Division I. Montpellier easily swept the Beaucaire Chevaliers 8-0 and 10-2 on Saturday and Sunday to win the best-of-three quarterfinal series. PUC edged out Stade Toulousain in the decisive third match of the series 3-2. Toulouse had won game one 7-3, before dropping the second 3-8 to Paris. In the semifinals Paris is facing the Huskies, while Senart takes on Montpellier.
