French Finals: Game 3 suspended in 10th due to lack of Light

Posted on October 23, 2010 by philipp

Game three of the French Elite League Finals between the Rouen Huskies and the Savigny Lions got suspended at the end of the tenth inning on Saturday due to a lack of light at the Pierre Rolland ballpark in Rouen with the score tied at 7-7. Rouen was just six outs away from completing the sweep in the best-of-five-series, but a RBI single by Jerome Dussart in the top of the eighth kept Savigny alive. The Lions had the better start into the game with a three-run first. But the Huskies scored three runs in the third and four in the fifth to take a 7-4 lead. It was not enough. Play will resume on Sunday before the potential games four and five of the series. You can follow the game via live play by play on FFBSC.com
