French Division I Baseball, Week 11: La Rochelle Sweeps, Ties Sénart for Pool B First Place

Posted on June 28, 2022July 4, 2022 by Gabriel Fidler

The La Rochelle Boucaniers claimed a share of first place in French baseball’s Pool B, surviving a pair of strong pitching performances by Stade Toulousain in a sweep of ‘reserve week’ play. The Bucs will travel to Sénart next week to test its seven-game winning streak in a matchup of top-of-the-table teams, with the Templiers currently holding the best winning percentage in French baseball’s Division I. Elsewhere, the Metz Cometz struck twice against Paris Université Club and linger only four games out of first in Pool A after three-straight victories.
