French Baseball season starts on March 30

The French baseball and softball federation announced recently the schedule for the upcoming season. League play will start on Sunday March 30th. Each of the eight teams will have 28 games on 14 game days. The Huskies Rouen won the 2007 championship against Templiers Sénart. Clermont-Ferrand won the second division and will be new to the highest level next season. No team was relegated after last season. The other teams are Savigny, Montpellier, Toulouse, La Guerche and Paris. Rouen and Sénart represents France in the European Cup tournaments.

Schedule for first game day:
Toulouse – Rouen
La Guerche – Sénart
Paris – Savigny
Clermont – Montpellier
