Mister-Baseball.com received a note from a member of French Baseball. He sent us a letter regarding the Baseball Club Les Pirates du Bassin:
The team “Les Pirates du Bassin” has been created in 1987 but is in trouble today. Actually the mayor of this city plans to remove the baseball field because “this game has been created by Americans” as he said.
All the French community of baseball is shocked by this decision and tries to help the club to retain its field.
Everyone can help signing the petition. I am not a member of this club, but I am disappointed in front of such a stupidity.

You should contact Major League Baseball about your situation, if you have not already. I am sure that MLB will want to help promote baseball and give support to keep leagues and baseball fields open in France and all of Europe.
