France, Russia to represent European Baseball at 2015 12U Baseball World Cup

Posted on December 1, 2014December 1, 2014 by philipp

The French Baseball and Softball Federation (FFBS) announced on its website that European champion Russia and runner up France will represent European Baseball at next year’s 12U Baseball World Cup in Tainan, Taiwan. The plan from IBAF/WBSC is to play the tournament with 12 teams starting in 2015. Europe would have two guaranteed spots in the tournament. Tainan will host the next three editions at a brand-new facility. Taipei City organized the first two editions of this World Cup at the 12U age category.
