France announces final Roster for European Championship #ebc2016

Posted on September 6, 2016September 6, 2016 by philipp

The French Baseball and Softball Federation (FFBS) announced its final roster for the European Championship in Hoofddorp. One last roster decision needs to be made, as it’s not yet clear if Oakland Athletics Double-A catcher Andy Paz will make it, as his minor league team is playing in the Texas League playoffs.

Compared to the roster at the Yoshida Challenge, where France finished in third place, seven players were cut from the roster: Lorian Andro, Amin Touahri, Fred Walter, Omar Williams, Oscar Combes, Jacques Boucheron and Leo Jiminian. Rene Leveret, who was not yet in Senart, will join the team in the Netherlands.
