The FORTITUDO pitching staff of Cody Cillo (5 IP), Alfredo Lopez (2 IP, BS) and Chris George (3 IP, Win) combined to hold RIMINI to three hits in ten innings, but they still needed a Richard Austin walk off homerun in the bottom of the first extra inning to defeat TELEMARKET 3-2. The guest squad had tied the game in the top of the seventh through Mario Chiarini’s two-run shot. Austin had brought BOLOGNA a 2-0 lead with a two-run single in the bottom of the fifth.
Chris Di Roma started for RIMINI and allowed six hits, two runs and three walks in six innings. Roberto Cabalisti took the loss.

GROSSETO used a five-run fifth to celebrate a 6-0 victory against CARIPARMA on Friday evening. Kelly Ramos and Raul Marval (3 RBI) homered. Luca Bischeri went three-for-four with a run scored.
Junior Oberto, Yovany D’Amico, Anthony Ferrari, Leonardo D’Amico and David Preziosi split the time for MONTEPASCHI on the mound with Preziosi picking up the win. Michael Jared Natale took the loss, going six innings, while allowing eight hits six runs (1 ER) and a walk.

Igor Schiavetti delivered a two-run single in the third and Giovanni Carrara was dealing on the mound, as NETTUNO won 2-1 against SAN MARINO. Dean Rovinelli hit a solo homerun for T&A.
Carrara allowed six hits, one run and a walk in six innings, while striking out seven. Tiago Da Silva got the loss, after giving up four hits, two runs and three base on balls in five innings.

After getting no-hit by GODO’s Kyle Collina on Thursday, the RANGERS scored eleven runs in the last four periods on Friday to crush DE ANGELIS 12-5. Massimiliano Sartori (2 HR, 4-6, 3 Runs, 4 RBI) and Johnny Carvajal (HR, 3-5, 2 Runs, 4 RBI) combined for seven hits, three homeruns and eight RBI for REDIPUGLIA. Mike Lockwood hit a homerun for GODO and drove in two.
Matteo Bertoldi picked up the win, allowing three hits, one run and five walks in six innings. He struck out seven. Michael Nisco was responsible for nine hits, four runs and four bb in 4 1/3 innings, to take the loss.
