Draci Brno became the last participant of next weekend’s Final Four of the Czech Baseball Cup, when they defeated Skokani Olomouc 11-1. The other three teams are Technika Brno, MZLU Express Brno and the second division team Liberec Patriots. The Final Four will be played in Brno at the Municipal stadium, where the World University Baseball Championship culminated there, as well as on the home field of Technika Brno in Kravi Hora. The tournament is starting on Friday with two games and lasts till Sunday afternoon (2pm), when the final of the Cup is scheduled. The main favorite is Draci Brno, winners of the Czech Baseball Cup 2007 as well as 14th consecutive Czech Championships.

The Patriots Liberec are coached by Anthony Bennett, who also led SB Rycory into the Final Four in 2000, when they lost to Draci, after leading most of the game. Liberec and Rycory are the only two second division teams, which qualified for the Finals of the Czech Cup.
