Former Minor League hurler Ferenc Jongejan is going to the be the new head coach of the Dutch Hoofdklasse club UVV. He succeeds Frank Koene. The 33-year-old will be joined on the coaching staff by the former Belgian national teamer Kevin Knollenburg, who is coming from the Hoboken Pioneers. Jongejan was a member of the Chicago Cubs organization from 2001 to 2004, pitching to a combined record of 9-11 and an ERA of 3.31 in 160 games between Single-A and Triple-A.
