The Feldkirch Cardinals, a former team in the Austrian Baseball League, which is currently playing in the second division in the Alp country, announced on its website the building of their new ballpark. The field will be completely re-constructed with work beginning on Friday. The city gave its green light this week. During spring and fall the outfield areas will be used as practice field for a local football club. New dugouts, stands and an outfield fence are planned in the future.
