Federations Cup Qualifier 2019 in Moscow: Russtar Moscow wins Qualifier undefeated

Russtar Moscow continued its dominance at the Federations Cup Qualifier 2019 in Moscow, Russia with a 19-1 win over the Sofia Blues in the final on Saturday. Russtar took a quick 9-0 lead after two innings, added four runs in the fourth and six in the sixth to celebrate an easy victory. Moscow secures a Russian spot in the Federations Cup for the 2020 season with the tournament win.

Moscow was led by Luis Valiente in the final, who went 3-for-4 with three home runs and nine RBI. His grand slam in the bottom of the sixth ended the game in walk-off style as the contest reached the 15-run rule. Rody Amador struck out six in six strong innings for the win.
