BRASSCHAAT, Belgium — After Day Two of the Federation Cup was lost to heavy rain, Croatian champion Olimpija Karlovac wasted no time on Day Three of the event, scoring nine runs in the first two innings on the way to a 16-6 defeat (box score) of the Vienna Wanderers. With two wins in as many games played, Olimpija sits atop the Federation Cup standings.
In the day’s second game, the Wanderers brought home a run in the 10th inning to defeat Belgium’s Brasschaat Braves 7-6 (box score). The walk off allowed the Wanderers to avenge their 14-7 loss (box score) at the hands of the Braves on Day One. It was the Austrian club’s first W in the competition.

The Braves are currently 1-1 ahead of Day Four action, which will see them get their first shot at Olimpija at 17:00 (CEST). Olimpija and Vienna start the day’s play at 11:00 (CEST).
