Posted on January 22, 2011January 20, 2011 by philipp

Some federations announce it on their websites, others issue press releases. The French Baseball and Softball Federation (FFBS) simply published a new organization chart for its national team programs. It already was rumored on a few occasions in the last couple of months, now we get confirmation. Sylvain Virey is no longer the manager of the French Seniors National Team, but instead will be responsible for the Cadets team besides coordinating the Baseball Academy in Rouen. The new head of the Seniors coaching staff is Fabien Proust, who served as assistant coach last summer at the European Championship in Germany.

French Baseball and Softball Coaches:

Baseball:

  • Senior National Team: Fabien Proust
  • U21 National Team: Boris Rothermundt
  • Junior National Team: Gerardo Leroux
  • Cadets National Team: Sylvain Virey

Softball:

  • Senior National Team: Ghislaine Ethier
  • Junior National Team: Raina Hunter

The complete organization chart can be found at www.ffbsc.org
