Posted on March 3, 2015 by philipp

The Austrian Baseball Federation elected a new executive board last weekend. The only change is Gabriele Hardinger as new vice president softball, replacing Michael Schmidt. The ABF issued the following statement:

Mr. Michael Schmidt, who has overseen Softball operations in Austria for the last 12 years, has stepped down as board member of the Austrian Baseball Federation as he wants to focus on his work as IBAF’s Executive Director. The Austrian Baseball Federation wants to thank Mr. Schmidt for his work and effort he has put into developing Softball in Austria the last couple of years and wishes him all the best for his future work as IBAF’s Executive Director. He will always stay a valuable part of Baseball and Softball in Austria.

Executive Board Austrian Baseball Federation:

Vice President Baseball – Mr. Christoph WIESER
