Due to the server problems of the last couple of days, unfortunately only a short version of the Junior Euros recaps. The Czech Republic and Italy will play in the championship game of the European U18 Championship in Prague. In the semi-finals on Friday, the Czech team beat Spain easily 8-2, while Italy stunned the Netherlands with a thrilling 10-9 nail-biter. Two runs in the top of the ninth decided the outcome. Tomas Ondra pitched a complete game to help the hosts.
On Thursday Germany crushed the Ukraine to reach the game for fifth place, which they accomplished one day later, defeating Sweden in the classification game. A small consolation prize after the high hopes before the tournament.
