European Cup Qualifiers get underway on Monday



The so-called “A-Pool” European Cups are in the books with Telemarket Rimini and Unipol Bologna meeting in the European Champions Cup Final Series sometime this summer. European baseball competitions will resume play this Monday, when the “B-Pool” gets underway. The European Cup Qualifiers in Borgerhout (Belgium), Athens (Greece), Karlovac (Croatia) and Senart (France) will be played from Monday, June 17 to Saturday, June 22. The winners of each event will qualify for the European Cup Playoff in September, where they will face the sixth-place European Cup finisher Bern Cardinals and Rouen Huskies in a battle for two spots in the “A-Pool”. Fans at home can follow the European Cup Qualifiers via CEB’s Live Play by Play.
