The calendar of the Confederation of European Baseball (CEB) concludes the year 2014 this coming weekend with a pair of Playoff European Cups in Brest and Prague. Three of the European Cup Qualifier champions and two relegated teams from the European Cups will face each other.
In Brest the tournament starts on Friday with an all-Russian matchup between the North Stars and the Olympic Sports School 42. The loser of that game will take on Brest Zubrs on Saturday, the winner on Sunday.
In Prague Kotlarka Prague hosts KNTU Elizavetgrad in a best-of-three series on Saturday and Sunday. The winners of both Playoff tournaments will secure a national federation spot in the A-Pool for the 2015 season.
