Box score

Despite a 2-3 ten-inning loss to MGPU-SYOS #42 on Sunday, Technika Brno won the European Cup Playoff in Brno. They prevailed with the best tiebreaker, as all three teams in the tournament had won at least one game. Technika defended the second Czech spot in the A-Pool of the European Cup in 2013 with the event victory.

MGPU-SYOS #42 scored the winning run in the bottom of the tenth inning thanks to a balk-call. Nikita Monakhov crossed the plate for the decisive run. A balk call already had forced extra innings, as Robert Regner scored to tie the game for Technika in the ninth. Daniel Mraz had put Brno on the board with a solo homerun in the seventh. MGPU led since a pair of RBI by Alexey Kobrinets and Maxim Monakhov in the second.
