Elsewhere in Group A, Sweden’s Sundbyberg eliminated Great Britain’s London Mets in a wild 15-12 game despite three home runs from the British club’s Quin Cotton, a former Reds’ minor leaguer. Dornbirn Indians eliminated Belgium’s Borgerhout Squirrels, putting the Austrian club in contention for the semifinals alongside Rättvik Butchers and Therwil Flyers, who play each other today.
