The Netherlands avoided another upset loss to the Czech Republic and beat them 4-1 in the opener of the Europe/Africa Olympic Baseball Qualifier 2019 in Parma, Italy on Wednesday afternoon. Orlando Yntema struck out seven in eight solid innings. Roger Bernadina drove in three of the four runs. Martin Cervenka scored the lone run for the Czech team. Ondrej Satoria took the loss.
