ESF Cups: Results Day 3

The Softball European Cup continued on Tuesday with preliminary-round play in Haarlem, Netherlands. At the European Cup DES Caserta remains the lone undefeated team with a 4-0 record after beating the Tex Town Tigers 5-2. Their pitching has allowed just two runs (1 ER) on eight hits and three walks in 19 innings so far. In the Cupwinners Cup the two Dutch teams Terrasvogels and Sparks Haarlem lead the standings with 3-0 records as the first round ends today. The top three teams in each pool will advance into the playoffs, which start on Thursday.
