The Softball European Cups in Haarlem, Netherlands started on Sunday. At the European Champions Cup the Tex Town Tigers and the Mannheim Tornados celebrated easy wins. The games at the European Cupwinners Cup were more thrilling, as Terrasvogels needed 13 innings to beat Moskovia Marino and Sparks Haarlem prevailed 7-3 against Fiorini Forli. Today the other teams also enter the competition in the preliminary round.
