Elite League kicks off final stretch of Regular Season

Posted on July 11, 2008 by philipp

After a few off weeks due to the Euro cups and national team games the Elite League resumes their schedule in France. Twelve of the 14 game day of the regular season are already in the books. However there are still a bunch of rain outs to makeup. Three of the four playoff spots should go to SENART, ROUEN and SAVIGNY.

The race for last participant in the final round is still open with STADE TOULOUSE in the pole position with a 10-10 record, though their schedule in the upcoming weeks is pretty tough. Behind them the BARRACUDAS hope to stop their eight-game losing streak in PARIS this Sunday, as they hope to close the gap to TOULOUSE. LA GUERCHE and CLERMONT-FERRAND also try to get back in the mix.
