The German Baseball-Bundesliga club Mannheim Tornados has signed a new pitcher. Eduardo Miliani is joining the record title holder for the upcoming season. He is coming from Castenaso of the Italian Serie A Championship. Last season he went 1-7 with a team-leading ERA of 2.83 in 14 games (9 starts). He struck out 91 and walked 44 in 89 innings. Castenaso went 4-24 during the regular season last year. He is supposed to fill the void in the pitching staff after Matteo D’Angelo and Cedric Desmedt left the team during the offseason.
