Espoo Expos – Szentendre Sleepwalkers 3-13 (7)
The Szentendre Sleepwalkers already had a 3-2 lead after four innings, when they scored nine runs in the sixth to low things wide open in a 13-3 win over the Espoo Expos. Gyorgy Nikolits drove in three. Masahavn Inoe collected three hits and scored twice. Olli Tolppanen crossed the plate two times for the Expos. The game was delayed (rain) for a few hours at the beginning of the fifth.
SUPERFUND Wanderers Vienna – Kranjski Lisjaki 9-0 (forfeit)
Due to the fact the Kranjski Lisjaki only had nine players available at the beginning of the game they had to forfeit the contest because of point 8 in the CEB competition rules. The SUPERFUND Wanderers Vienna got their third win of the week with the 9-0. The remaining two games of Kranjski Lisjaki on Thursday and Friday against the Expos and the Sleepwalkers will be forfeited as well. The game between Lisjaki and the Espoos for tomorrow is still on, but only as an exhibition match.
Buffaloes Blagoevgrad – Olimpija Karlovac 0-8
Olimpija Karlovac shut out the Buffaloes Blagoevgrad 8-0 behind nine strong innings of Carlos Tovar (W 1-0). He issued just six hits and a walk, while striking out six. He needed just 108 pitches for the complete game. Slobodan Gales hit a homerun and scored twice for the Croatian club. Josip Brozinic drove in three.
