EBCA launches Coaches Exchange Program

Posted on December 4, 2010 by philipp

by European Baseball Coaches Association (EBCA)

The EBCA is pleased to invite interested Coaches to apply for the 2011 Coaches Exchange Program beginning in February 2011. The scope of the project aims at providing support and assistance for European coaches to spend 1-2 weeks working with coaches from professional, university, and high school baseball programs around the world.

Participating partners include institutions such as Butler University, Caliendo Sports International in Chicago, University of North Alabama and the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater. Selected applicants will be invited to spend 7-14 days working and assisting within programs such as these with direct face to face contact with experienced coaches in the United States.

Attached is the application form which should be completed and returned to info@baseball-in-europe.com no later than December 21, 2010. Selected applicants will be announced January 5th.

Selected coaches are responsible for providing their own airfare to the city they are assigned. Upon arrival their lodging, transportation, and a majority of meals will be provided courtesy of the hosting organization.

This is an exclusive offer to EBCA members and an initiative we are very proud and excited to offer. We look forward to reviewing all of your applications in what promises to be a fun spring! For more information how to become a member of the EBCA ask at info@baseball-in-europe.com
