Filip Vandermeiren, the 4th coach selected by EBCA for its exchange program is now back from its trip to the United States.
The collaboration with the MLB Coach Development Program allowed him to have a lifetime experience with the Milwaukee Brewers organization, for their Instructional league in Phoenix.
Filip represented the EBCA with class and demonstrated his passion for the game.
MLB International proved to be a partner of choice and the Milwaukee Brewersʼs staff has been incredibly welcoming and eager to involve him in on-field activities, so he can take home as much information as possible.
You can learn more about this adventure by checking out our EBCA Exchange Program blog.
With the Exchange season now in the books, itʼs time to look ahead and start applying for the 2012 Exchange Program.
Again, several coaches will be sent to the US, from Florida to California, but also in Massachussets, Arizona…
If you are an EBCA member for 2012 (see membership conditions), you can apply directly through our website.
If you are not an EBCA member yet, waste no time and sign up.
The membership will allow you to apply for a stay in some of US most renowned programs, but also to elect your EBCA Coach of the Year, find a growing list of useful baseball articles and presentations, and other new feature to be announced in 2012.
You can register for our 8th EBCA Convention, that will be held in Prague from November 11 to 13 and will take place in the gorgeous Grand Majestic Plaza.
Interviews will be conducted during that weekend for the candidates who have a profile that may fit the available spots.
Also, donʼt forget that each person interested in European baseball can propose the nomination of the EBCA Coach of the Year, before October 20th. Members will then be able to vote for their favourite, who will be announced in Prague next month.
