The Eagles Prague will change their coaching staff for the upcoming season. Jan Homolka and Jakub Jonák, who pitched for the Czech Extraleague club in 2009, will take over head coach duties from Richard Kaina. Kaina will remain with the Eagles to coach the Junior team, which basically is the B-team of the club. They aim to reach the second division in Czech Baseball with their junior players. Prague finished in fourth place with a 18-17 record after the regular season in 2009, but was eliminated during the first round of the playoffs by Skokani Olomouc.
