Dutch outfielder Kalian Sams, who got released by the Seattle Mariners at the end of Spring Training and then found a new home with the San Diego Padres, is getting called up to Triple-A from Double-A. He received the promotion to the Tucson Padres following his tenth home run of the 2013 season. Overall the 26-year-old The Hague native is batting .250/.412/.713 with ten home runs, seven doubles, 16 runs and 27 RBI in just 26 games for San Antonio Mission in the Texas League.
