Dutch Juniors win three out of four in Prague against Czech

europeantour09_2The so-called European tour exhibition series between the junior teams of the Netherlands and the Czech Republic ended after four games on Friday. After the Czech squad won game three on Thursday by a score of 11-5, the Dutch prevailed again on Friday, barely winning 8-7. They had dominated the first two matches on Tuesday on Wednesday, out-scoring their opponent in the European Championship Juniors in Bonn next month 17-2. The games this week were played at the facilities of the Prague Eagles, where the IBAF Baseball World Cup also takes place.

Czech Republic – Netherlands 2-10
Netherlands – Czech Republic 7-0
Czech Republic – Netherlands 11-5
Netherlands – Czech Republic 8-7
