Curacao Neptunus Rotterdam beat L&D Amsterdam 6-3 on Thursday evening as the semifinal round robin in the Dutch Hoofdklasse resumed play with round three. Rotterdam improved to 6-1, while Amsterdam dropped to 5-2. Curacao Neptunus erased a 0-3 deficit by tying the game in the sixth and breaking the tie with a Dwayne Kemp run after a wild pitch in the seventh. They added two more in the eighth and sealed the win. Jan Tomek earned the win with 3 1/3 strong innings of relief. Dennis Burgersdijk got charged with the loss. The second scheduled game of the night between the Hoofddorp Pioniers and HCAW got postponed until Friday due to rain.
