Three games were played in the Dutch Hoofdklasse on Thursday. Curacao Neptunus Rotterdam returned to their domestic competition following winning the European Champions Cup with a 12-10 win over the De Glaskoning Twins. It was a back and forth battle, which ended after eight innings due to the Dutch curfew rule. Five players scored twice for Rotterdam.
HCAW defeated DSS 6-2. The team from Bussum scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to break a 2-2 tie en route to the win. The game also ended after eight frames. A lengthy sun delay in the sixth inning had briefly suspended the contest.
In the third game of the evening the Hoofddorp Pioniers prevailed 8-1 over Pickles UVV. Lars Huijer pitched eight scoreless innings for the win. Shurman Marlin and Jeffrey Arends went deep to pace the offense. Timo van Ancum got charged with the loss.
