In 2019, Britain will experience the first ever Major League Baseball games (LondonSeries) played by the New York Yankees vs the World Champion Boston Red Sox on the 29-30 June in London. As a showcase of the great things to come to the baseball fans in the UK, we have organised our opening season to start on Saturday, 6th April at Farnham Park, with an international twist. That is, expect to see the Irish highly coveted Baseball Ireland Champions – Dublin City Hurricanes team travel to London to play our reigning British Baseball Federation National Baseball League Champions, the London Mets.
The above competition is in collaboration between Baseball Ireland and the British Baseball Federation. Both mentioned are the National Governing Body of their respective countries for the sport of baseball. Both the Hurricanes and Mets are decorated winners of their respective National League and internationally recognised as two top international baseball programmes. The competition is being called the Irish British Baseball Cup, which will include top baseball players from Ireland and Britain. With two of Europe’s top two clubs taking part in the Irish British Baseball Cup, you can expect a lot of excitement, excellent baseball competition and the best showcase of players from both countries.
A spokesperson for the Dublin City Hurricanes Baseball Club, said, “Taking the Irish game to London is a real honour and incredible sporting opportunity. The London Mets are a great team, and we look forward to this challenge”.
The format for the 6th April, NGB Cup is one nine-inning game winner earns the Cup and bragging rights. I look forward to seeing our fans, friends and families out there enjoying themselves and can’t wait to play ball with the Hurricanes.”

Guess what ? It is now 12.06.2019 and I still cannot find the result even on this site. typical of the organisation of baseball in UK.
Below, find a copy of GB posts on this site in calender order
May but nothing about what happened in the game between Dublin Hurricanes and London Mets. Is there anyone in GB baseball bothered about getting yougsters/people interested in the game. If you you need to show that there is some life in British baseball which means advertising the big games and following up with the results and description of the events of the game.

I have not yet seen one local UK baseball score or result on any sites like Flash Scores. Italy,Netherlands,Sweden,Spain,Belgium, France, Finland, Ukraine, Germany, Norway, Czech Republic and even Lithuuania but UK either still haven’t started or can’t be bothered typical no wonder baseball is not making any progress in the UK.
