US-American catcher Drake Zarate, who first came to Europe last season, is going to play for the Vienna Wanderers in the Baseball League Austria this year. He is transferring from the Stuttgart Reds to the Austrian capital. With the Reds he batted .459/.554/.721 with three home runs, 21 runs and 14 RBI in 18 games in the German Baseball-Bundesliga. An injury cut his season short.
