Draci, Kotlarka prevail in Czech Extraleague

The Czech Extraleague continued on Thursday evening with two inner city duels. Draci Brno defeated Technika Brno 9-5. Draci decided the outcome with a pair of three-run frames in the seventh and eighth. Michal Ondracek scored three runs. Pavel Budsky and Tomas Polansky had two RBI apiece.

In Prague Kotlarka prevailed 6-2 over the Eagles. RBI singles by Daniel Vavrusa and Filip Smola broke a 2-2 tie in the fifth, giving Kotlarka the decisive edge on route to the win. Marek Cervenka struck out seven in eight strong innings for the win.
