German outfielder/first baseman Donald Lutz is currently tearing up pitching in the Double-A Southern League. The Cincinnati Reds prospect hit his third cycle of his minor league career on Monday in a 17-1 victory of his Pensacola Blue Wahoos over Jacksonville. He hit for a cycle in the Gulf Coast League in 2008 and in the Midwest League in 2011. After his 5-for-6 performance on Monday he is now batting .362/.422/.724 with four home runs, two triples, five doubles, 11 runs and nine RBI in 15 games for Pensacola this year. He leads the league in, Total Bases, SLG and OPS and is among the leaders in the other categories.
