New York Yankees shortstop Didi Gregorius is going to visit New Zealand for a series of baseball clinics in Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland from January 9 to 19. He follows in the footsteps of fellow MLB players Curtis Granderson, Mark Melancon, Nick Hundley and Paul Goldschmidt, who have visited New Zealand for clinics in the previous years. The 26-year-old Gregorius has established himself as a MLB player with his performance with the Yankees the past two seasons. Next March he will suit up for the Netherlands in the 2017 World Baseball Classic.
