Dick’s Sporting Goods Pony League World Series starts on Friday #PONYBbSb

logo635971718220418780The Dick’s Sporting Goods Pony League World Series is starting on Friday in Washington, Pennsylvania. Ten teams from around the world will compete for the trophy in a double elimination style format until August 10. European Baseball will be represented in the tournament by the German Baseball Academy (Deutsche Baseballakademie), which is listed as Paderborn in the bracket. They will have their first game on Saturday afternoon. They qualified by winning the Pony League qualifier in Prague, Czech Republic in April. Live streams from the games – produced by Pikewood Sports – will be available through MLB.com.
