Looking at Day 4 at the European Championship

Seven games will be played on Monday at the European Championship in Stuttgart, Heidenheim and Neuenburg. The weather forecast doesn’t look good at all, but right now there is no rain. In the morning Great Britain and Spain play a key game in Stuttgart. Ivan Granados (ESP) and Jeff Mottl (GBR) will be on the mound. At the same time the Netherlands and the Czech Republic will make up the rainout from Friday. Diegomar Markwell (NED) and Jan Homolka (CZE) are the starting pitchers.

In the afternoon Greece can make a big step towards the final round against Croatia in Stuttgart. In Heidenheim the Czech team plays its second game of the day against Belgium, which will send Kenny Vandenbranden to the mound. The evening games at the three venues will be highlighted by the matchup between the Netherlands and Germany in Heidenheim, which will be the decisive game for first place in Group A. Tim Henkenjohann (GER) and Leon Boyd (NED) will be the starting pitchers. Additionally France and the Ukraine will play in Neuenburg and Italy is sending Riccardo De Santis (ITA) to the mound against Sweden in Stuttgart.
