Outfielder Daniel Lamb-Hunt will remain with the Bonn Capitals. After two years with the Pulheim Gophers with two best batter awards, he had joined the Caps to make a run for the German championship. He took a step back at the plate, going .289/.416/.400 with seven extra base hits, 24 runs and 17 RBI in 27 games. Bonn already had resigned Bradley Roper-Hubbert and Charley Olson for the 2013 season. Additionally Maurice Wilhelm is coming from the Cologne Cardinals. Lamb-Hunt, who played for New Zealand at the World Baseball Classic Qualifier in Taipei City in November, is currently active in the Australian Baseball League wearing the Brisbane Bandits jersey.
