The Czech Winterleague 2011 started in all three divisions last weekend. From Friday till Sunday six teams from division Morava battled for points in Blansko. Blansko organized already 20th annual youth indoor tournament and beside U10, also U8, U12 and U16 categories were played there. In the final with the best two teams after the round robin AVG Draci Brno black faced Trebic Nuclears. AVG Draci Brno black won the game against Trebic Nuclears 9-6 and became winner of the first Winterleague 2011 tournament divison Morava.
Another Winterleague tournament was played at Krc (Prague), facility of Eagles Praha. Eight teams not only from division South but, also two teams from division North were divided into two groups. The best team from each group was promoted to the final. Lokomotiva Louny, unbeaten in the Winterleague 2010, beat SaBaT Praha in group A in a game for first place and advanced to the final. In Group B Sparks Mlade Buky (divison North) beat home team Eagles Praha and followed Louny. In the final of tournament brought the first lost in Winterleague history for Lokomotiva Louny. The better team Sparks Mlade Buky won the final game 12-10 and won the first Winterleague 2011 divison South tournament.
